Leaving a loop will give your bait a little more action but you must
pull the knot very tight for it to hold. Under enough strain, this
loop will close but that is not a problem.
Tip: The square noised Sergeant style pliers work best for pulling
your knots tight! Other styles may cut, break or slip before
you can pull the knot as tight as it should be.
