Are credit cards safe on the Internet?

Credit cards are very safe over the Internet!  This is due to the fact that you are not responsible
for any charges without your signature and the physical swiping of your card.  If you mistakenly
pay a bogus charge, you still have 30 days to notify them to stop payment.   I only get an
authorization for the price of the charter and send it in only after you sign your receipt.
You are more open to fraud in a restaurant where many have access to a copy of your signature.
